November 4, 2020		 Prof. Dr. Sho Tsuji appeared on TV NHK “視点・論点 (Shiten・Ronten) “ on November 2 (Mon.) E-Tele 13: 50-14: 00 and November 3 (Tue.) General TV 3: 50-4:00. October 22, 2020		 The fun picture books for infants supervised by Prof. Dr. Sho Tsuji are now on sale from Suzuki Publishing. (only in Japanese). “Katachi de Pa!” and “Moyo de Pa!”

October 21, 2020		 Prof. Dr. Sho Tsuji has become one of the editors of  special issue “Empirical Research at a Distance: New Methods for Developmental Science” of frontiers.

October 20, 2020		 Prof. Dr. Sho Tsuji will give a talk titled ”ManyBabies-AtHome: Establishing remote infant looking time methods in the with-corona era“. Invited Presentation at Symposium “Safe research environments in the with-corona era” at the 9th Conference of the Japanese Society for Developmental Neuroscience(Virtual). And also Monica Barbir, postdoc at IRCN Babylab will present “From lab to home: Getting your infant online experiment up and running“!
September 25, 2020 Prof. Dr. Sho Tsuji was Invited to present ”ManyBabies-AtHome: Towards an international effort to establish infant experiments at a distance” at Roundtable “Thinking about research methods in the era of the COVID-19 pandemic” at the 20th Conference of the Japanese Society for Baby Science (Virtual). Please see the slide.

July 9, 2020 Monica Barbir, postdoc at IRCN Babylab, received a PSL Special Jury Prize in the ‘Science and Humanities Interface’ category for her PhD thesis “The Way We Learn”. PSL Prizes are awarded to the best doctoral work, completed at any university in the world, in a variety of fields.
June 9, 2020 For caregivers and educators, “Kotoboo –a peek into language acquisition under the scientific microscope–“ science-based information about language learning in childhood has been released in the form of comics by IRCN Baby Lab  (Principal Investigator Dr. Sho Tsuji) initiative.
